Established in 1997 under Sri Vishnu Educational Society, BVRIT is one of Telangana's leading autonomous engineering institutions.
B V Raju Institute of Technology (BVRIT) was established in 1997 under the auspices of the Sri Vishnu Educational Society (SVES) by the eminent philanthropist Padmabhushan Dr. B. V. Raju. Since 2014, the institute has been granted autonomous status by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is approved by AICTE and affiliated to JNTU Hyderabad, Telangana. The institute is guided by a governing body comprising distinguished professionals from IITs, premier engineering institutions, and government sectors, under the leadership of Sri K. V. Vishnu Raju. The institution follows a strong academic governance framework focused on continuous improvement, quality enhancement, and excellence in technical education.
The institute offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The undergraduate programmes include Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning), Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science), Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, and Chemical Engineering. At the postgraduate level, the institute offers M.Tech programmes in VLSI Design, Embedded Systems, Electric Vehicle Technology, Electrical Power Systems, Engineering Design, Computer Science and Engineering, Data Science, and Chemical Engineering.
